In my opinion the impact is dangerous at 180fpe. You only have that little1/8" rod connected to the pellet probe and then it has two holes drilled through it almost the size of the rod. Push it too hard and your just asking to have the pellet probe embedded in your shoulder or face. I was planning to strengthen mine but decided the design just isn't right for high power so I sold it and got a Vulcan 3. It's a much stronger design but I'm having trouble getting the bigger valve open after mods. The V3 really needs a longer hammer spring... seems like everything has a weak point.
