hi all just wondering if anyone has managed to get a 30gr slug too a 1000fps with a mkii power plenum impact as mine seems to max out at 930 even at 160 reg surely thats not right is it

What else have you done? Well ported probe and brass inlet? 700mm or 600? Lighter valve return spring?
I could get there with the .30gr, but i use the older rubber ball valve stop system.

I’ve heard you need to use the original hammer spring to get the most out of the PP. This would become evident if your current HS is maxed out and you’re starting to see FPS drop as reg pressure is increased.

Yes I have in .25.
The 29.5 gn NSA slug is going 1015 FPS
33.5 = 975
38.5 = 920
And yes I had to get the 57 mm spring from FX. The new Gen. 2’s w power plenum are using the 52 mm spring. I think they are doing it so you could get de pellets. I wanted this to be a dedicated slug gun but I tested JSB MKII 34 gn pellets in the slug liner going around 950-970 FPS and they are amazing.

That's for the older models, the latest version already has this.
+1 on getting a softer spring.
If you get the new slug power kit you get the spring and other stuff to improve the speed, Ad huma transferport and the speed Will increase some more.
