FX Impact 1st hunt

Went out the other morning and was able to bag a rabbit with my Impact .30 topped with the AMG Rattler. So cool.

Yes it was less than 15 yards. He keep his head behind a thick brush. The haydes made a loud and nasty thump. Just behind the shoulder. Thanks

Just behind the shoulder is the shot to take. Good deal. That’s a lot of gun for a rabbit. End of the day you got one. Did it run at all?

Those Hades are loud. Loved my Impact .30, one of the reasons I let it go was the thwack factor. Very quiet shot, then one hell of a thwack, especially on a head shot. Just a bit much for the neighborhood. Downsized to .177; if/when I move I will re-arm and sling the heavy lead again.
