Fx Hybrid slugs poor performance

I nailed 4 crows with some fx hybrids and I was not impressed at all. All 4 shots were no more then 20-25yds and 2 needed follow up shots from center mass shots very solid contact. For a hollow point you would think the internal damage would be fatal with a nasty hole out the exit if any...Nope! I even had to chase down one wounded and finish it off.

For hunting purposes I've found nothing beats a Polymag period! If you haven't done any hunting or pesting with Polymags you are missing out on very lethal ammo fast or slow velocities. [Proven testimonials] 

The only reason I even tried the Hybrids is I had half a box in my bag and the opportunity rose to do some real world testing. I'm tuned for JSB King's so I figured I shouldn't be off too much if I tried the Hybrids. Now I can finally trash the last few and stick to what works!

Hybrid lovers sorry to ruin your night but real is real. This is the 26gr in 25cal to be specific on what I'm referring too.

I think you mean “buck the wind” compared to .25 JSB King 25.4 grain Pellets. Certainly not compared to heavier slugs currently available from companies like NSA??

The .30 hybrids are devastating, the .25’s from my experience werent very good.

They shot good in my RAW and Crown made numerous medium and long range kills and they were impressive! just WAY to much money. The NSA 29's and 29.5 shoot lites out in these 2 guns as well for alot less!. The Impact 700mm? don't like any slug LOL

I shot a bunch of raccoons a crow at around 90yrds and a red squirrel at 120yrds with hybrids. Didn’t inspect the carcasses because they fell dead. This summer I will scrutinize the hybrids more because through the tons of different slugs I have shot, some definitely do more damage. In the end accuracy always trumps damage for me.

I found them very accurate out of the 600mm Superior liner in the low 950s. They seem to pop Starlings good in my limited experience.

If the shoot placement on crow is uper chest they fall down every single time even with jsb 18 or 16 gr.If the placement is a little of they can fly away to die elsewhere.
