FX Hybrid Slugs & original Smooth Twist barrel?

Has anyone tried the .25 hybrids in an original Smooth Twist barrel? Results? Being that these are a little different from most other slugs I was curious if they shoot OK from a Smooth Twist as opposed to an STX barrel. Thoughts, opinions, feedback? Happy New Year to all!

I do not think the .25 are released yet.

There is only .22 hybrid slugs atm.

You are a sneaky rascal. Trying to get a jump on us for spring hunt. The answer is they won't shoot for s#$% in your gun! Anybody else is great. Something about Oceanside weather and lead oxidizing because of salt air. Unbelievable underhanded clever trickster always plotting and laying little booby traps for buddies to step on.

I agree you are trying to get a jump on the FX .25 slug results as they aren’t out yet, but I was shooting Rat Sniper slugs in my Condor last year and they were the most accurate slug or pellet for that mater out of it. I believe they were his 24 grain wicked monsters.

Nick, Happy New Year pal. I'm always looking to make my guns even more deadly than they already are. I just might have to break down & buy a slug shooter. Don't tell my wife, she'll have my 'nads if I spend that kind of money! 

"Leatherman" any slugs I've tried require a fully rifled barrel. The Smooth Twist barrels are unreal with pellets for accuracy but won't shoot slugs for sh-t. Keeping an eye out for a used slug shooter.

I’m sorry I didn’t read it right. Your right smooth twist barrels do not shoot slugs well. But the FX slugs do seem to be doing well in choked barrels.
