Top one for testing, bottom batch for hunting. When you start getting too many testing slugs, it’s time to get out your drill bit and clean them up.

Well, the batch is the same. I just made the hollow point as it should be. Philips PH0 is your friend.

Have you compared accuracy between the two? I have been shooting mine straight out of the package around 1MOA but always looking for an easy way to eliminate flyers/tighten up groups more.

The accuracy seems to be the same. They just look better and they have a little larger hollowpoint. They may have a slightly higher BC.

I just received my first couple of boxes to try, and saw the same thing. Thx for posting the pictures that indicate that is normal, and that it didn't impact accuracy.

Many people tune their guns but ammo tuning is not that pupular.

Did the same to mine -tumbling. Much more ascetically pleasing. More accurate or more "punch"? Maybe. We'll see.

You mean you actually put your ammo in a tumbler? That sounds like a bad thing to do as the FX Hybrids have one of the most consistent surfaces of any slug I've shot thus far, and it seems that tumbling them will negate all of the work put in to get that surface.

Yes, that is a good point. I noticed that after tumbling the surface is no longer like a mirror. I recommend to work on the tip only with no tumbling.

My experience was the same and my accuracy seemed to decrease. Tips only from now on (only wasted a flat). Just wanted to experiment.
