Just have to work around the greedy that jack prices up

I believe the 129.99 is the retail price. The 79 is what the majority of the retailers sell them for.

And if you shop around and look at where the original harmonic tuner is originally from...

It starts at $200.00 and goes up from there. All copies which can have some innovative spins start at $150.00 and can go up or down depending on who you go thru.

I dont think there's a need for anyone to chime in. If you go to their website, they list like 100 dealers (give or take), so you can price shop if you think someone is price gauging you. To be honest, in a lot of ways, there are very rare crazy markups except in hardcore local places, but the product is in so many stores (or you can get on the back order list) that you can just easily shop around. It's like any other product. You see it high in one store, and you go to another to see if it's cheaper... I don't understand the amount of discontent here.

I thought the FX was an original design...the adaptive one you posted looks identical...

Interesting, isn't it???! I do like that the lower one has marked lines on both the weight and the shaft (like a micrometer) so that it is easier to record what works for what slug/pellet. It would also alow you to have one tuner for different air guns.. May as well integrate all the great ideas into one product, right?

Yeah, very interesting especially since that adaptive one is marked patent pending in the picture you posted. Maybe they didn't finalize the patent app? Good find though. All for advancing the sport but would be off-putting for me if the FX barrel tuner was a blatant copy of it--and given from what I looked up with what you posted, it's a made in America company (I get some don't care about this part/may not pertain)

if the FX barrel tuner was a blatant copy of it..............

Looks like you don't know much about patents........it takes a minute and that design can be mine....

Patents were worth investing in pre-internet time, but today? is a pure ripoff. Today you invest tons of money trying to protect your product but next incoming Monday morning in 7 a clock becomes an industry standard !!!

Just look at Elon M what he said and it is a good read.
