FX gas cylinders questions

I've noticed that the 400 .22 Royale comes with a 450cc CF bottle while the 500 .25 Royale and the Boss .30 come with 500cc aluminum ones. I'm guessing the CF bottle is more expensive than the aluminum ones but the msrp of the guns don't seem to reflect that. This seems a little odd to me although I'm sure there must be a reason for it. The 400 .22 claims 100 shots the fill 3600psi, The 500 60 shots the fill 3200psi. The Boss 40 shots fill 3600psi. The fill pressure on the 400 and Boss are higher than a lot of guns and I'm thinking you probably get fewer fills out of your large CF storage tank because of it. About how many times can you top off these guns before needing to have your tank refilled at the scuba shop?

Search " airgun fill calculator" ...and pick one. Enter size and pressure of fill tank, fill pressure and size of gun cylinder, and at what pressure you wish to refill. Hit the calculate button....you'll have an answer.
You have mentioned several airguns with bottles of different sizes and different fill and refill pressures. Too many variables for one simple answer. Just plug in the correct numbers......you will learn.
The different callers will not effect the number of refills, just the frequency.

Thanks for the excellent advice and link - I'm just considering getting into PCP so there's a lot to learn. Another newbie question, approx. what's the low end psi when it's time to refill? I'm sure it varies from gun to gun but for example, on the FX guns I mentioned how low would you go before refilling?
