FX FX Dynamic stuck magazine

First time poster here. I'm new to PCP airguns and purchased a used FX Dynamic Sniper 700 mm 357 cal. I shot it and pulled the bolt back all the way and tried to remove the magazine and it will not come out. It moves a little but won't slide away from the rifle. The bolt cannot be slid back forward either. I tried putting a cleaning rod down from the muzzle to see if I could push a slug back down but did not want to force anything. Also, if it was a stuck slug would this work with the magazine still in the rifle?
I didn't want to continue without sending a message to the dealer but also thought I'd ask here in case anyone else has had a similar issue. Hope someone can help!

It sounds like you might have accidently double fed a few rounds. Sometimes you can slide one of the projectiles back into the magazine with a rod by tapping it, then pull the magazine out,( if your magazine doesn't have a blank spot at the end). Some magazines won't allow you to slide the bolt forward after the last projectile has left the mag. If thats the case you may need to rotate the magazine one position then slide the projectile back in with the rod. The other possibly is removing the barrel. Im not familiar with the details of your particular rifle, but I have successfully removed stuck magazines by doing this. Someone should be able to walk you through it.

Hi,
Just my 2 bits here - On many of the FX rifles with the trigger sear arrangement the Panthera/Dynamic has it sometimes happens that the trigger sear gets stuck in the firing position (barrel end up) which will prevent the rifle from fully cocking (as the sear gets stuck in the hammer spring). So, you think you have the lever all the way back, but you don't. The probe hasn't fully retracted from the magazine, preventing the magazine from being extracted. This happened to me fairly often when I had a big hammer weight (with the 8mm head) in the rifle. I think it caused enough hammer spring compression, even in an uncocked rifle, that the spring deflected down and got caught up with the sear. (On the .357 there is no doubt that you are using n additional hammer weight with a big head).

There is a very simple fix. Hold the trigger back while pulling back the cocking handle, then let go of the trigger so the rifle can cock. I am pretty sure there is a whole tread here on AGN of one of our fellow shooters destroying his pellet probe and magazine in an effort to remove the mag.

I don't want to discount Dstrac's suggestion that it may be a stuck pellet due to a double (or even triple) load. I have done that also.

Cheers,
Greg

OK does the trigger actually move? I tried this and no trigger movement noticed. Does it matter if safety is on or off?
OK, I did this and it recocked the trigger mechanism and then when I squeeze the trigger it clicks like a dry fire but not able to close the bolt or remove the magazine. I have an email from FX stating to use the back edge of a razor knife to try to rotate the magazine to line a hole up with the barrel. Stay tuned...

So here's what worked. I used the backside of the blade from a boxcutter inserted under the lid & rotated the inner wheel slowly while putting light forward pressure on the bolt until it slid forward. I shot the pellet out of the gun & am back up & running. I was a bit nervous firing the rifle as I didn't think it would be good if 2 slugs were in the barrel but it worked out.
Thanks for the help to all!
