FX FX Dynamic express .30 cal tunning

Many people struggle to get airguns to shoot “great” with slugs. Lots of trial and error, in particular finding the right slug brand and diameter. If you’re doing well with .300 Javelins, I’d stick with those and get a heavier weight. There are many reports of Javelins shooting well from the FX Panthera/Dynamic.

My experience with the 700mm and slugs has been use a crono, get some javelins. Patriot and fx get along well. Send them as fast as you can, within reason. Mid to hi 900s, if you can, or wherever the accuracy node nearest to max efficient speed. You have to find it and tune for it.
Slug tuning Is interesting to say the least.
Thank you

I shot long distance for many years with regular rifles. A neighbor of mine got me started with the air rifles a couple months ago. Started with the Benjamin Armada .22 cal. Then got the FX Dynamic. I enjoy hunting hogs. Got the Texan ,457 for the hogs. Have taken two so far with that.
I never thought I would enjoy shooting air guns, but I have had more fun with the air guns than regular rifles!

Was your gun tuned by a vendor or yourself?
Vender tuned to start I have played with the tuning. The javelins are shooting well. I can hit 11 inch gofer target at 225 yards.
I am curious because you seem to be almost maxed out on the hammer if micro=3.8. It’s easy to tune these guns to have too much hammer. Have you checked speeds with lower micro wheel settings?

Yes they were not as good. It seemed to be most accurate at 22 and 3.8 but I can do some more adjustments to see what it does. Thank you for the help
