I’m looking for a PCP for some silhouette practice in my big backyard. I have an Anshutz 8002 177 that I use indoors. I also have a RAW 1000x 25 caliber. That mother is heavy for silhouette. I’ve thought about buying the chassis to save a little weight BUT that’s getting away from silhouette rules for stock configuration.

I hit the wrong key and posted before I wanted to. My question is……. Is the FX Dreamline with its classic stock suitable for silhouette practice? I’m thinking 25 caliber to better fight the wind. I may set up a full distance range or maybe 3/4 scaled down range. Anybody been down this road before?

Can't really address silhouette shooting, but my wife shoots the Dreamline Classic wood stock and it's a very accurate and pretty light gun. It's significantly lighter than my RAWs and she shoots it quite well. Should work for silhouette I would think. Hers is 22, but 25 should be just as good or even better at distance.
