Fx dreamline with GRS stock?

do any of you know anyone who put a GRS stock on a fx dreamline? Or if can be done?



i do know they made one for the air arms 510 ultimade sporter

I guess You have already found answer to Your question, but I'm going to answer anyway.
GRS makes FX Dreamline dedicated stock. Just bought one to convert my Dreamline Tactical to GRS stock.

Hi,

As Oscar (CEO of GRS) explained...if You shoot from bench then some shooters like to support or press gun into shoulder with their left hand (if You are right handed and shooting from right shoulder). I have tried and that cutout is very comfortable todo that.

I really like the GRS stock on my Dreamline except the forearm didn’t appeal to me. I know it is a precision target stock designed for bench shooting but the 1/2” thick side on the forearm isn’t necessary for me and looked and felt to heavy so I took a rasp to it . I removed the inletted metal rail which was 3/8” thick and removed all the stock material to that depth . I then removed at least 1/4” on each side tapering it into the air tube. You just look at the lines of the laminated wood as you go as they tell you if your thickness is even. I now love the look and feel of the forearm. Made a world of difference in how it feels in my hands as a hunting rifle. I also cut 1 1/2” off the front. In my opinion most airgun manufacturers are making their forearms too long and don't have the right stock dimensions as classic powder burner rifles have. Have you heard of the proportions formula called the “Means”. It applies to a lot of things we find appealing to the eyes. Rifles are one of them.

Do You use those rubber thingies in barrel support, those that goes between air tube and grub screws.
I used but then took them out and clamped barrel support to air tube without them. With those rubber bushings barrel support holds barrel in up-down position but side to side it moves.

Yes, I understand that, but the barrel clamp from FX comes with 2 grub screws and 2 little rubber pieces that, by drawing, goes into the grub screw hole before You screw in that grub screw.
Did You used those rubber "bushings" or did You threw them to trash bin and "hard mounted" the barrel clamp?

I did use the rubber bushings. The barrel clamp does the job . I have no problem with point of aim changing. I have talked to others who still have a little change if they pick up the gun by the barrel. A friend of mine has gone to a custom Walther barrel turned to fit the Dreamline action and he is extremely happy with it. Mine I’d shooting hades so good I don’t see any need to change. This is my dedicated pellet shooter for small pest in the yard and my favorite looking airgun I have.

The looks really isn't as good as with air cylinder indeed! But it is at experimental level with the gun. We'll see how it behaves! Luckily I have all the parts now to go back to that sleek classic look. Especially if I have new (non FX) airgun in wish list ;)

I thought that I'll give a parts list for making Your regular FX Dreamline to dual regulated like FX Maverick and FX Wildcat MKIII. Parts list from the point of view making Dreamline Tactical to Classic with GRS stock and Maverick regulators/plenum system:
You need to convert tactical safety to Classic/bullpup safety.You need (part numbers from FX parts drawings):
1. Safety pivot Bullpup/Classic - 20056 - 1pc
2. Safety lever 32.5mm - 19860 - 1pc
3. Safety knob - 11200 - 1pc
4. Grub screw M3x8 - 19742 - 1pc
5. Hammer spring adjuster (only on classic model) – 11541 – 1pc
To make Dreamline dual regulated You need:
1. Power adapter Dreamline - 20268 - 1pc (this is plenum)
2. Power adapter with regulator hole - 20325 - 1pc (second regulator body)
3. M3x8 bolt with allen key head - 1pc (for plugging hole in second regulator body) Read topic in Airgun Nation forum https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/fx-maverick-second-regulator-tube-degassing-screw-hole.1298199/#post-1579965
4. O-ring 23,0x2,5 NBR 70 - 19485 - 1pc (one comes with powerplenum but for second regulator body You need one to buy)
5. O-ring 10x1,5 NBR90 - 19790 - 1pc (that one goes into the second reg. hole)
6. One or two regulators, depending, do You want to use FX AMP reg. Or You want to upgrade both regulators. I ordered one Huma reg. Gen3 for Impact. Also I ordered extra stack of belleville washers and brass piston to upgrade FX AMP reg. AMP reg body and set screw remained old but Huma washers stack and piston went in.Parts that I ordered from Huma:
1. 1155 (1155-1312) - FX Maverick First or Second Stage Tuning Regulator By Huma-Air (Gen3) Extra high pressure range FX 100-200 Bar (G3)
2. 0995 - Replacement regulator piston. Piston model: FX Impact piston Gen2/3
3. 1216 (1312) - Replacement belleville spring set. Belleville sets: FX Impact + Crown Gen3, belleville springs, 10 mm, extra high pressure range set (135-200 bar)
4. 2019/ - Rebuild kit for your regulator FX Impact gen2/3That last one I ordered to get that O-ring that goes into the second regulator body (O-ring 10x1,5 NBR90)That should be all.
Oh, and the GRS Green Mountain Camo riflestock. From Krale.

I'm shooting 20gr .177 ZAN slugs with it and to be able to do this I have changed few parts when it was in Tactical settings (for JSB KO 13.43gr .177 slugs).
1. Huma High Flow V2 Dual Hole Transfer Port For FX Impact, Dreamline, Crown, Maverick and Wildcat MKIII
2. FX Dreamline Slug Power Tune Kit By Huma-Air
3. FX Dreamline External Power Plenum 17cc - stacked 2 plenums.
4. FX STX Superior Heavy Liner 500mm

To go from JSB 13.43gr to ZAN 20gr, I switched from 500mm barrel to 600mm barrel. For that I had to order few extra parts.
1. FX STX Superior Heavy Liner in 600mm
2. Shroud 20x585 - 19867 - 1pc
3. O-ring 14,0 x 1,5 NBR 70 - 19718 - 3pcs
4. Pipe bushing 7mm yd 17,6 - 20191 - 3pcs
5. Compensator .177 - 19807 - 1pc

I think it works just fine without the barrel band. At least in 500mm.

Oh, forgot to mention, I run carbon fiber sleeves on barrel liners!
