Just joined the forum today. I currently have a Benjamin NP2 and a Benjamin PROD and I've been researching a 'higher end' PCP in 22 cal. and have somewhat settled on FX.

I was convinced I was going to purchase the FX Dreampup until I came upon the Dreamline Tactical Compact.

4 questions:

1. It looks like the tactical compact has a shrouded barrel where the 'standard' tactical and Dreampup do not - correct? - so no need for a moderator on the compact?

2. The tactical compact looks like it comes with a 400mm barrel vs. the 500mm in the Dreampup or standard tactical. Would this be a noticeable accuracy or range difference?

3. Would the 180cc bottle on the compact (noted in youtube video link) be hand pump-able? Currently my PROD is very easy to fill but it's only a 65cc reservoir

4. Does the FX bolt action prevent you from double loading a pellet? I really like what I see with the side lever versus my PROD rear bolt action.

1. Still gonna bark. Probably even louder ie. shorter barrel.

2. A shorter barrel needs more air to reach the same velocity of a longer one.

4. Side-lever is smooth as silk, but doesn’t prevent double loading.
