I have a new FX Dreamtac Compact that, other than some small issues zeroing in a new scope, I’m impressed with so far. Very accurate, great trigger, smooth action.
I like the simplicity and high capacity (18 shot in 22 cal) of the sideshot magazines. Very quick and easy to load.
However, I’m not crazy about how they engage into the gun. My only other PCP is a PROD pistol with an 8 shot magazine. It has a nice positive detent snap when you load a magazine. The Dreamline magazine just sort of wedges in there. The pellets load and cycle fine but there is room for improvement here.
