there is a set screw that is sitting proud of the body to the right side of the dove tail ( see image) is this correct or should it be threaded deeper in? Thanks

I called FX and they said the screw was supposed to be threded in. So I got it fixed. Wasn’t able to load a pic until just now.

No, they did not. I suspect the folks at mfg/ assembly didn’t tighten it enough. I did not use a thread sealer because if it ever has to be taken apart I’d hate to strip the hex head (1.5) mm I think.

I got the fx dreamline compact about 2 weeks ago. ? Is the gun will fire in safe mode. How can I fix it without shipping it back.

Yes give them a call and ask them why my trigger stays in "first" stage when I pull it shortly or when safety is on.. drives me nuts..
