FX Dreamline power question

The valve is the same, but it does have an adjustable transfer port that is larger for the larger calibers. The .25 and .30 models also have a 290cc air cylinder as opposed to the 220cc air cylinder that comes on the .177 and .22. This helps with shot count. The heavier projectiles also make more energy, and yes, the longer barrel also helps. In my .22 Crown Continuum, on the .25/.30 setting, it's pushing the 15.89 gr Hades at an average 909 fps (29.06 FPE) out of the 380mm barrel and an average 1071 fps (40.5 FPE) with the 700mm barrel.

I agree with DanielL mostly, simple physics. But barrel length also comes into play. I replaced the 500mm barrel with a 600mm barrel on my .22 Dreamlite. My basic tune with the 500mm was shooting 18 gr @ 910 fps, with 600mm it jumped to 955 fps, same settings. Also shooting 23 gr RDH the 500mm maxed out at about 890fps, and was it loud. I have since added a power plenum and with the 600mm barrel I am shooting the 23s at 910 fps with the reg set at 140 bar and it is quiet as a mouse.
