Tuning FX Dreamline low tune

I should have stated that it is a Dreamline Classic so it lack the hammer adjustment knob.

No worries. My DL is a .25 Classic as well. FelixS has it right, just twist the transfer port wheel to the other two positions and see where it puts your speeds. The reg should be set around 110-120bar from FX and that will be subjective due to the variations in "gauge error".

I would try 18gr pellets too if they are available, this will lower your speeds without changing having to change the Reg pressure. For the speed you are looking to shoot the hammer spring might be the only adjustment you need to make, depending on a few other parameters as well. I encourage you to let the "sum of the parts" seat and break in for a tin or two before making any internal adjustments. But if you must, here is a part you will need after you adjust the hammer spring. You can get it from FX or 910 airgun. FX will put thread locker on the HS adjustment and after you break it loose it will creep later on so the Jam Nut is a must for tuning.

I though I should follow up on this. I wound up getting a Dreamlite in .22 as it was available. All it took was with the reg. set at about 110bar was to turn to the medium port and reduce the hammer to 3. It shoots H&N Excite Hammer pellets at 810 (over 100 shots per fill) and is extremely accurate as the starlings, sparrows, and squirrels could testify. This rifle is a dream to carry in the woods and quiet enough without the DonnyFL mod. that the birds and squirrels just don't seem to hear it. I did add a barrel support band as I was afraid I might bump the barrel when hunting. I would like to try JSB pellets if I could get them.
