I bought this FX Dl Classic synthetic stock used and the factory thread locker has been removed which is fine as I'm tuning and adjusting. But now it is so loose it is vibrating or jiggling away from the settings I want it to stay at. Any bright ideas of how to make it snug but still moveable?

@orion was telling me about Purple Lock Tite. It is supposed to be rubbery. Might do the trick.

Some people have removed it and wrapped with teflon tape, theres also a product called vibra-tite vc3 I believe that's made for uses like this. Or loctite green, just a drop and it'll still be moveable and the residue will add some friction. I use the latter.

Call FX USA and order the jam nut they have that locks the adjusting nut in place. It's a special part, but they will know about it. I ordered one for my Royale, works great. Just check to see that you have some visible threads behind the adjusting nut for the jam nut. It's thin, but still needs a few threads. I would not use any type of thread locking agent on it. If you strip either the head or the threads on that nut, you have a problem.

Is there a jam nut solution for the Impact? My hst srew backs out when I shoot. Will use Loctite otherwise.

Blue Loctite works just fine , I use it on my Impact and screw stay in place or can be adjusted when needed.
