FX Dreamline .22

Hello.

As much as I raise the reg. pressure and the hammer spring it doesn't increase the pellet speed.

I'm on 670fps max jsb 18gr.



So my question is: 

It is the gun mechanically limited?

what should I do to achieve full factory power?

Not too familiar with the dreamline, but do you get any puffs of air in the face (which would indicate a possible breech o-ring leak)?



I'm sure a more person more experienced with dreamlines will chime in and help soon. That is incredibly low FPS and not normal.

Where is the port opening set (front power adjuster).

The dreamline is new and doesn't have a leake issue.



I think the problem is in the gun limitation parts, because law restriction.

The gun came with under 17 fpe limitation

You could contact FX and ask them what is done to meet that restriction (at the factory) and what would be necessary to alter the gun to achieve a higher projectile velocity.

Guns for the European market are mechanically limited by country. Example, Britain is 12fpe, so the non-FAC guns are mechanically limited to 12fpe, and power cannot be increased past that no matter what you do. FX might tell you what they did, but I doubt they'd sell parts directly to the end customer to overcome the 17fpe limit in this case. I suspect you'd need to go through a local gun dealer familiar with Portuguese law and have it properly registered if power was increased over the 17fpe, and if Portugal requires the gun owner to have a license, the dealer could probably help with that as well.
