FX Dream Tact Compact .25

Thought I’d share this .25 cal Dream Tact Compact beauty! Upgraded to a Daniel Defense buttstock, upgraded to a 370cc carbon fiber bottle and Ken Hicks at SPAW did his barrel polish and tuning magic. Shooting 25gr Kings right around 880 on max with the reg set at 140. Haven’t done an official shot count yet with the larger yet but will do so later this week. If you are thinking of getting this gun, do not hesitate! I highly recommend it...it’s compact, super accurate, powerful, great shot count with larger bottle, externally adjustable reg plus power wheel for different applications, plus the X barrel system. You really can’t ask for more!!

Nice gun! The tank is a perfect fit. 

I have the .22 with the shorter barrel and shroud. I plan to do the same as your with the smaller cf bottle though. They should come from the factory with cf bottles imo.

Thanks guys! In reality, I spent way more than I should but I think it was well worth every penny! See bottle specs below...the 370cc fits perfectly. I addition to the bottle you’ll need a FX bottle valve.

I got the bottle from a forum member! I got the FX valve from Ohio Airguns. I believe you can find the same bottle on eBay, but they all come from China so you might have to wait several weeks for delivery as shipping is not the fastest from China. The original cylinder is ridiculously small and I’m shocked FX released the gun with such a small tank. This upgraded tank will double shot count easily...highly recommend getting one!

A 580cc bottle is 6,1cm in diameter, it don;t look it would from your pics, but can you confirm that a 580cc would not fit past the shroud.

Anything larger than a 370cc will NOT fit, so I can confirm the 580 won’t fit past the shroud. I honestly don’t think you need that large a bottle on this compact platform. 370cc will get your at least 40 shots depending on how your gun is tuned.

I think too. 300-370cc it´s the better option.

I have a question for Dream Tact owners. If you upgrade the bottle to a CF 300 or 370 can you fill higher than the 230 BAR stamped on the rifle? I know the 230 BAR was recommended for the aluminum tank, can you fill to higher pressures with a CF bottle?

Wow twith70, you’re digging up some old topics. To answer your question, if the bottle you put on your gun is rated for 250b or higher, just fill your gun to 250b. The AMP reg will handle it. Don’t fill it higher if you wind up with a 300b bottle. Stick with 250b.
