I bought 5 packs of .25cal fx hybrid slugs and decided to test them this morning. I know they shoot better with the new fx superior liner, but to my big surprise, they fly everywhere and turned my dreamline nearly to a shotgun! I got 3" groups at 25 yards. My setup is fx dreamline-tac with power plenum, reg 145bar, power wheel at max, I tried 950 fps to 1000+fps, but the group always be like 2"-3" at 25 yards, I didn't even try at 50 yards and beyond.
I got my .25 rigs back in car and took out my .22 dreamline-pup, shot .22 hybrid slugs sub-moa at 50 yards, 875fps with power plenum and reg 140bar.
So, to whom don't have a superior liners or don't plan to buy one, forget .25 hybrid slugs, they are hopeless with your stx barrel.
BTW: It can be seen in the photo that there is dew on the moderator, reason is air humidity is high this morning, and the air at the muzzle expands violently when shot, causing the temperature to decrease.
