How does a person determine the value of a used FX Cyclone or any pcp gun? I am new to this sport.

Check out the classifieds do a search history see what buyers actually paid see how long sellers are STUCK WITH ALL THEM SAME GUN RELISTINGS how long it takes to sell and I would guess $500- $650 depending on condition seen one for $650 for a WHILE I personally know TED he's a trustworthy seller and spent grands with him and beware to check on availability for those 8 shot magazines specific to those FX guns in that era and also may help to do a cross reference with LOGUN and Webley for compatible magazines too. FYI- 8 shot FX magazines aren't ALL created equal. Good Luck. Yo!

Some of them came with nice walnut and that may demand a bit of a premium. Most I see for sale had the awful synthetic stock with the foam pads that fall off where the checkering would be.
I paid $550 for mine in walnut a few years ago. It was basically new in the box from 2005.
This is hard for me to say, as I'm not much of an FX fan, but the Cyclone is an awesome rifle. Very lightweight, makes very good power, very efficient, and very accurate. I certainly don't regret spending what I paid for mine.

Trying to sell.Mine is synthetic stock with 6, 8 round mags and a Hawke 4x12x44. And I just had it TOTALY rebuilt by AOA to the tune of $335. It is all new inside,everything,spared no expense.But I am trying to save up for an Impact so this is part of the deal,selling my beloved Cyclone.Chronoed at 880 in the number 3 setting with 18.1 peletts.Thanks to all for the help. Well,thanks for the advice and concern Yo,but as a Vietnam vet on a DA retirement ,I don't make enough to just buy another expensive setup without selling the one I have,thus the Cyclone will be a loss,but ad to the impact coffer.It's a reality I am forced to live with now.Had I known about the new high performance guns out there at the time,I would not have had the Cyclone re-built and put the money into a new gun.As I originally ststed,I new in the air gun sprort and had not discovered this sight yet ,so thus ended up in the school of dIY. Life goes on and some lucky person out there will benefit from my lack of education and expenditures. BW
