anyone know what the screw is for under the reg.gauge,,small grub screw in the center.(i took it out to clean bore) & now my reg.gauge will not show psi???

i removed, cleaned the bore where it lives & replaced..now no psi on gauge..my question is why is it there? how do you adjust?? just leave loose enough to let air to reg??my reg goes up 20-30-bar over nite...i am just grasping for straws,,,,, thanks

i have called & emailed trying to buy a " complete" new reg. i got a email saying $43.?? for a "complete" new one..i emailed back saying send me a invoice...nothing yet? i want the complete reg with everything.p/n 9121 i was told?? tks

I doubt that you need a new reg, but it sounds like you might need someone to walk you through assembly and adjustment. I expect one of the FX techs can do that for you.

just talked to newman at fxusa,he said he never heard of a reg.doing what i told him.(my luck) so i will try one from them.he also has a great video on amp regs. thanks all, happy 4th!!

If you screwed it down tight then it can't pass any air into the plenum, it's basically a valve. Back it off (unscrew it) half a turn and your pressure should return. The further you open it the higher the regulated pressure on your gauge. Stop and about 120-130bar and see how it does. Anyway, I hope it this simple and nothing is damaged.

I thought the only thing under the gauge was a delrin or buna seal. Can you get a photo of it? Maybe it's not supposed to be there and now its plugging the gauge pressure sensing hole, strange anyway.
