New to air rifles but am I right that there is a 3-6 month waiting list for the FX Crown? Considering the 25 or 30 cal in it but I didn't realize there was that much of a wait.

That wait may be correct at some vendors they seem to have many more dealers I suggest you call them to find out exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised if you can locate one if your not fussy on stock type

I understand it depends on what model you want. If it's the top end laminate (plywood) stocks, in .25, yes it's a wait. If you want a walnut in less popular .22, maybe not so much of a wait. It's all in the luck of the draw.

I would want a laminate but I'm not choosy about which one. But for sure I want either the 25 or 30 cal. Most likely the 25.

Since I own a 25 cal Impact I'm wondering if I should buy the 30 cal in the Crown or wait for a 25 cal Crown. I know that some here will have their preference but I am trying to decide if I should try to stick with the 25 cal (since the Impact is a 25) so that I will be more familiar with it or should I just go for the 30.

Next month you will be able to the x barrel updated barrel for the Impact in 30cal 700 mm long should be a long distance winner. The barrel should be interchangeable between Impact and Crown.

toku58, I checked with them but between the 25 & 30 cal they only have the 30 cal in stock now. They have the 30 cal in Walnut, Blue, & Green. But no more 25 cal. The more I think about it I really think I want the 25 cal

I had the same issue, trying to decide on caliber. I am glad I went with the .30. It drops critters in their tracks. As soon as the caliber change is available I am going to order a .25 just because I like the high shot count you can get.

I'm with you LSS152. Ordered the .30 Crown today and I plan to order the .25 insert for it when it becomes available.

We’ve actually been thinking of changing our name to Utah Virgins....I’m not sure we will sell as many airguns if we do that though??
