That's just for a sleeve. I have not heard of a price for a complete kit. I'd imagine the complete kit would include a probe, magazine, inner barrel sleeve, and outer barrel."Keyman62421"Except for the barrel converions! $99 conversions according to the IWA DEMO. (YOUTUBE)
That's the F "X" file! LOL"Dirte"They must be in the "X" File.
The flip side of any of those schemes is that the next thing comes along and people lose interest in your project. Consumers in general are fickle."NMshooter"
I personally would rather have a longer wait than a rifle that had problems.
I am sure the wait is somewhat intentional to create "hype" for the rifle resulting in more sales. The more we talk and lust after this rifle and the more suspense, the more potential sales.
The reps from AoA and Utah Airguns both said they do not have pricing for the caliber change. They estimated that it would be similar to an Impact barrel change which is ~$495. If you already have a FX Boss in .30 cal, that is very similar to the FX Crown in form/function. Word is the wait will be 1Q2018 if you're ordering now. Again, just estimates."pooterjoe"I'm really confused.
Buying a barrel sleeve for $100.00 won't get you a complete package to realize a caliber change ???
when I finally receive my Black pepper laminate .30 caliber Crown I will be considering ordering a .17 or .22 setup but I'll have to get Airgunsofarizona to present me with a price for the complete setup. I don't plan on waiting for a great length of time for the Crown. I just might opt for a Impact instead. I already have a FX Royale Boss and a Sumatra 2500 but the Crown appears to be quite the rifle. Hopefully FX will be providing the barrel setups sometime soon. It seems to me that the barrel assemblies could/should be produced and made available for the many Crown buyers. COME ON FX AND PUT PEOPLE TO WORK PRODUCING THESE NEW PRODUCTS.
I'm not in any rush to get my FX Crown; I do have my spot on "the list". I figure by the time my number comes up there will be thousands in the hands of shooters and any issues will be discovered, discussed, and resolved."pooterjoe"It seems to me that about $500.00 for a complete barrel setup is a bit to much. Spending $2000.00 for a rifle and $100.00 for a extra magazine has brought me to conclude that this AirGun interest can cost a bundle. I also have spent over another $2500.00 for a Omega Super Charger and a small and large carbon fiber tank. By the time a Crown is available it just might be that FX or other air rifle brands could be considered. I need to be more patient but it seems that it could be risky to receive a rifle that has yet to be evaluated by purchasers. Maybe it would be best to wait about six months until the Crown is in the hands of buyers that can offer informative and appreciated reviews. I'm certainly keeping my position on the backorder list for the Crown but the Daystate Hi-Tech Wolverine has got my attention and it is available now.
