Fx Crown slug liner .22

Hi :)

Need some help regarding slug liner. Planning to buy from Krale Sport (I live in Norway). I have FX Crown .177 and would like to uppgrade to .22. Will 700mm fit my Crown? Or is that length just for the Impact? Is 500/600mm better? This is not for hunting. Its for plinking at steel targets at 150 to as far as i can :) It seems like the 500mm is the only one that will fit my gun?

Just because there's been an improvement in barrel securement doesn't mean he will have problems with the existing system.

That said, a 600mm barrel will do just fine with 23 or 24gr slugs.

Yeah, this exactly. I've experienced zero accuracy issues with the new 700mm and the standard 600mm barrel systems.

Like Bob says, you can shoot 23-24gr without issue, if you want to maximize power you'll need to increase hammer tension or introduce a hammer weight (or both, depending on whether or not you want to mod your hammer spring guide).

FX themselves I think reccomended not using the 700mm barrels on the Crown at one point, however you must also consider the 480cc Korean bottles are not perfectly round and in some cases can be extremely close to the shroud assembly, unless of course you shoot without shrouds.

I have not tried any of my 700's on my Crowns, simply because the 600's work so well there is not really any point VS the very long length of the gun anyways, I found even with a 600mm barrel on the Crown you have to be careful not to bang it on things in close proximity.
