I tried the Weaver high's on mine and it was a NoGo but not by much 1/8 of an inch or so . I ended up having to get the extra high. Here is a pic of the ones I got you can look the specs up on there site to get an exact measurements.

I don't know a measurement of exactly how high the rings need to be but I am using the FX no limit rings on my Crown with no issues. The no limit rings are height adjustable so you can set them to whatever you need from medium to extra high to get the clearance you need. Very nice high quality rings.

I wish fx would come out with a 34mm set . All my good scopes are 34mm . I ended up getting a impact so I don't have to worry about it now ...lol but I still have my crown too.

hey Dan the eagle vision adjustable rings come in 34mm and are a lil better than the fx in my opinion. I have both and like the eagle visions with the pic on the top of the rings lol.
They had some the other day at aoa instock in 34mm if I remember correctly.

Thanks Scott I just ordered a set . I ended up getting the ins version they look more like the spur mount on my 338 Lapua .

For what it's worth, I have a Crown in 30 cal, and I measured 0.86 inches from the bottom of the ring base to the top of the factory magazine (14 rounds).

It depends on the diameter of the saddle on the scope you are using and whether you have Crown with a pic rail or dovetail, the FX no limits in 30mm dovetail will clear any scope I have tried, the pic will not.
34mm Sportsmatch dovetail will clear some but not all, I just tried some Nightforce 1.5" super high pic and again they clear some scopes but not others.
As suggested earlier FX really need to come out with 34mm no limits rings.
