FX crown repaired

So my first experience with FX airguns I guess was not a good one. I only had the gun for about 2 weeks and it started to leak and progressively got worse. it took about 3 weeks to get parts from FX to repair it and that was not the issue. I sent the receiver in to get it repaired and they had it for 3 weeks and it finally showed up Saturday. I open the box the first thing I noticed one of the gauges were smashed and on assembly I noticed the barrel locating pin in the receiver was not there. So to say I was a little disgusted would have been an understatement LOL. At this point I realized it was a totally different receiver, part number what's different. I emailed them over the weekend and called them at about 10 this morning and explained to the lady what had happened, she was very nice very apologetic and I had a tracking number for the parts that were broke and missing within 2 hours. So at the end of the day did it take a long time to get the gun repaired, yes but no questions asked the problem must have been in the receiver and they replace the whole thing. when it showed up and there were Parts damaged and missing they immediately send them out. The gun holds air shoots as good as it did before and I think they handled their mistake very well. At the end of the day we all make mistakes it's what we do after the mistake was made that defines who we are. Sorry for the long post but I have been complaining about FX and maybe rightfully so but they did the right thing and that also needs to be brought to light!

I seriously thought about getting an FX crown, but I have read so many issues with the crown. its good FX fixed the parts after arriving back smashed, but for it to fail and need a new receiver after 2 weeks I think I would have asked for a replacement rifle. for FX this inconsistency in production seems to be to often for my liking, you either get a good one or one that fails or needs constant tweaking. after watching the factory visit video and the so called attention to detail of accuracy and performance it surprises me so many get out that fail quickly or need constant tweaking.

I know all makes can have a few slip through but for high end I would expect it to be rare.
