This subject has been addressed here several times. The last thread not so long ago, but I could not find it. This is not an accuracy issue. These Crowns are very accurate, but they do not like traveling. I have suffered POI change from session to session. Forcing me to always test the POI every time I use the rifle and I am not alone. Well, the reason for this thread is that I have just received a brace that fits around the shroud and the carbon bottle clamping to the bottle. This brace was 3D Printed in plastic and sold by Ohio Airguns for $20 . I am super impressed with its precision fit. It fits firmly to the shroud with "zero" clearance yet slips over the Carbon bottle occupying all the space between the shroud and bottle applying no pressure to the shroud either up or down even when the two clamping screws are tightened. With the FX design the barrel is fixed only at the receiver. The shroud adds no additional support, so the barrel can be disturbed with only the lightest of forces. This brace really solves that issue. This solution is simple, but very hard to execute. I have seen other 3D Printed parts and I have not been overly impressed. With the form and precision fit of this piece, I am very impressed. I have not tested the gun yet, but I have confidence this will solve the loss of "ZERO" issue. I will get back to the forum with my test results.
