FX FX Crown MKII Safety O-Ring

I took the stock off my FX Crown MKII last night for the 1st time following the instructions in the “FX Crown MKII Full Disassembly - FX Masterclass” Youtube video. In the video, he shows an o-ring on the safety which is not on my rifle.

Should I have one and what type is it? I don’t see this o-ring on the FX diagram:

My mkii has no o-ring there...

Sometimes they are stuck at the bottom of the well. Have you checked with a flashlight inside there?
Or perhaps FX made a change at some point eliminating that O-Ring?

I have 2 MK 2's when i took them apart last week i notices one had an oring the other did not

Thanks, the safety works just fine without the o-ring. This is with a wood stock.

The first time I removed my stock, I lost the O-Ring....until I happened to see it on the floor...."What/where did THAT come from?!?"
Figured it out. Both of my Crowns had O-Rings.
I believe that they are in there to stop the fastener from backing out.
