I have this rifle in the .25 Continuum package. AWESOME rifle so far and absolutely no issues, Friggin accuracy is on point too. No complaints here what so ever...

I have two Crown MK2s. One, had a leak early on so I sent it back to FX and they repaired it promptly under warranty. Don't forget, you get a 3 year warranty when you buy a new rifle which covers everything. FX's customer service is really good.

You don't need a slug liner for slugs uoto 26gr. It's advisable to get one for heavier slugs apparently.

I agree with Trucker. I think the info put out originally about lowering pressure while pressurized, then fire a shot, was a mistake to even publish. Yeah, for a few adjustments it might be fine but over time the plastic tip on the brass piston(or tip period, on a plastic piston), will get badly worn and creep will soon be knocking on your door.
It’s best to just degas, close the reg CW to a soft stop, open a whole turn and a half CCW, air back up, then open reg to your desired setting. A whole turn and a half CCW from a soft stop will put you at around 80 BAR.

Even using the slug port on the STX, it's recommended to use a slug liner for anything more than 27gr (which my Crown Mk2 just LOVES. I don't have access to anything heavier to test with at the moment.
The slug port uses the same amount of air as the pellet port, the IHS determines the amount of air. The slug port just let's it out in a shorter burst.

Place the s side down, and if you want to shoot heavier slugs then 30grains, you will want to purchase hase the heavy superior liner
