I always have two sized wooden dowels about 36” long. One for the 25 and 22 barrels and one for the 30 cal barrels. If I know I accidentally double loaded, I cock the lever back, put the gun on safe, remove the mag, insert the dowel from the muzzle and push the pellet out backwards.
it used to be common advice to tell someone to just shoot both out, till one of our members let someone try their pcp at the range, accidentally double loaded it, fired, and now the stellar groups he had are gone, permanently. Something happened to that barrel in the double load, what happened is still under investigation. Meanwhile he’s had to purchase a new barrel. I myself will never shoot out a double load.
