FX Crown MK1 tuning....a little help needed

Hello , I just get a tungsten heavier hammer to giive my FX Crown .30 a bit more of power to shoot slugs. Maybe am I not smart enough but I don't fully understand how to put the heavier hammer . Below is a pic of the hammer assembly. I saw a video of E. Rowe about it , where he cut off the spring guide , drilled a recess into it and reassembled . Does that mean that I must get rid of the factory hammer and just make the modifications on the spring guide , as Ernest did ? Is it that simple or do I miss something?
I noticed that the diameter of the heavier hammer is a bit smaller than the factory one ; will it not "wobble" in the action ? However , the heavier hammer doesn't go into the factory one . I wonder how the sear will catch with the new system ? Sorry but I feel a bit lost , so ... some help would be useful .

The weight goes into the back of the hammer, the spring guide must be shortened. I wound up getting the slug power kit from fx, which included the altered spring guide, hammer weight and pin probe.

So the heavy hammer does not replace the factory one , it slides into it ? Except that mine is a bit too large in diameter to go into the factory hammer.

I bet you could call FX and get the spring guide replaced with the one from their slug kit.
