Do the crown barrel kits fit both the original crown and mk2? Just wondering if I bought an original crown if it would be easy to do a caliber swap or is the original crown designed to really only change the barrel liners? Thanks guys.

All Crown barrels will fit all generations of the Crown so far. While weight, structure and attachment methods vary (from the older heavy tube barrels to the newer “SuperLighs”, and from the two top screw attachments of the gen 1 Crowns to the four angled screw design of the Continuum and later Crowns) they all are able to be used. There is fundamentally no difference between them when it comes to the key interface between the block, transfer port and barrel.

My hunting 22 crown ,an MKI, has the new 380mm barrel system on it and it works great. Have the rifle set up to shoot the 21 grain H&N slugs at 880 and it is a tack driver!
