Be advised, the Crown mk2 should come stock with a dual transfer port. A single hole pellet side, and dual port slug side. I don’t know if the Huma version offers much advantage.

I am fully aware, unfortunately due to bad machining from the factory it will not seat properly when i try to place the barrel housing assembly in the 6 o'clock position (where the dual hole transfer port is) , it jams up and it feels like its slightly grinding metal on metal. but when i flip it around to use the pellet transfer port it slides right in, perfectly. every time.

I almost forgot to tell you that I ordered new 600mm 25cal Crown Barrel from Utah Airguns and it came with the old, single sided pellet port. So, I ordered a Huma transfer port and installed it myself. I ran into the same issue you are having and had to use my Dremel and polish it down to make it fit. It took a little while (about 2 hours) but it's a perfect fit now.

Top of the block beside the magwell. Sometimes you have to pull the grub screw and reseal it.

You can remove it completely, but you don't have to. I normally loosen it up before I take out the barrel along with the 4 set screws.

I wouldnt remove it, it seals when you shoot, it might change your velocities. you can put a wet paper towel on top and fire to see if its leaking.

If you held your barrel with a vice/pliers on the end, you most probably have small marks left by the vice/pliers where it griped.
These marks can be tiny pieces of metal that protrude causing the grinding sound.

I would contact FX and ask for a replacement under warranty. They are pretty good about stuff like this.

Use a bit of your o-ring lubricant, it will slide in and the grinding noise will disappear.
