FX Crown / Impact fast flow port

Hi ,

Did anybody try the Huma dual fast flow transfert port for the FX Crown , Impact or Dreamline? The gain of airflow on .22 cal is said to be around 48 %. Price from Krale ( Netherlands) is about 28 euros.

Yes they work very good but you have to open it up more.

I have a 25c, I did not opened the slots wider but I put a radius on boundary edges for maybe smother flow. With a closer look on my the slot down there in the hole is already tangent to hole walls and mathematically no point making it wider unless go with a new pin stile probe you will have to fabricate somehow your self.

Ill try and get some data up in the next day or so. Stock 22 with mild pellet tune. Ill do stock, brass port and port and probe.

But with the Dual transfer port and a pin prope i made it has given me at least 45-60fps on both my impact and my dreamtac compact..

so the huma transfer port is a great upgrade

Had a chance to switch out the ports and got some numbers. Tests done on a otherwise stock impact mk2 power plenum. 70 bar reg setting with va set on line 3. Very mild tune.

Stock 18 JSB's 921,928,924,,920,920. 

Port swap. 924,929,927,925,923,925. Maybe 5 fps gain. Loaded a pellet, pulled the barrel and probe.

As expected, the probe is the next choke point. Used the loaded pellet as a depth gauge to see what part of the probe needed to be reworked. 

After a little work with the dremel. 946,940,948,944,943. About 20fps gain.

At a 70 bar reg setting I'd say that's pretty good. Cranked up pushing heavies or slugs, I'm sure you'd probably see more of a gain.

Thanks for the information. Just installed the PP on my Dreamline so now time to install the Huma dual transfer port I have and mod the pellet probe. Bill

RJ you will gain much more if you open up the ports, and match the hole in the prope

Hi 

I have an issue with the humma dual transfer port. It changes my POI down by 4 MOA. When reinstalled fx original TP I sow my POI recovered as it was. Wondering if you have seen a similar behavior.
