FX Crown has been ordered!

22 caliber with Slug-X liner on pre-order. Hoping to have it by the weekend but being Thanksgiving, I don't expect it until next week.

The Crown will take over primary pest control duty, and the Streamline will take a break again.....but it will still take the lead on anything to do with indoor or after-dark pesting.

The Ultimate Sporter went back to PA last week due to I got tired of dealing with the first run of regulators. Too bad really as the gun was awesome in every other aspect.

Be careful out there Bob ! They are becoming dangerous game.

Yes, that's what Mike told me on Friday. It's going to be a month I bet before my slug liner comes in, which is okay being it's dead of winter and I won't be able to do much work on the bench due to that. I'm also not in the first group of pre-orders to be filled.

It really is a bummer though, as I have a bunch of footage from the US on the farms, and I wanted to do a review of it as well as a comparison video with the SL.....would have been a great and lots of fun.

It will be nice to own and shoot both the low and high end of the FX line. That might make a nice comparison video in itself.

You're going to love the Crown! I want a slug liner bad, I have about 8 tins of slugs from Rat Sniper Slugs, Wicked Monster and AONCO ranging from 25.4 to 45 grains that I tried with the Smooth Twist X. I knew they wouldn't shoot well but I bought the slugs because the ones I wanted were out of stock everywhere and I wanted to get them while I could. I'm stocked up, I just need a slug liner now. Be sure to post some pics and vids as usual!

So you ended up having to send back the replacement too? Too bad the direction Air Arms is going... they made good guns...before the regulators...

Really like my .25 Crown. I have been experimenting at 120-140 yards with the MKII's. Amazing guns Bob. Looking to go your direction in that I need a back up gun but I don't want to go backwards in performance and quality so I am on the lookout for a .25 Streamline or maybe a cricket. I have the .25 slug liner on pre-order, I am told it's several months out yet.

Did you order this from Airguns of Utah? I just got a wildcat compact for them this summer and love it, but I keep thinking about a crown.
