FX Crown Barrel Question

I picked up one of the 380mm Superlite STX barrels for my Crown, and after removing the original barrel I noticed a difference in the breech area between the two; The 380 barrel has two holes, where the original has only one. Everything else appears about the same. Any idea what the purpose of this smaller second hole is, and if it would cause any issues?

It’s for low power tune, put the big hole down @ 380mm your low enough

Thanks Jayson, I was wondering about that given the additional adjacent seating groove.

Yeah the first one I had like that in 700 mm, I put it in upside down and spent a tin of pellets trying to get the velocity up? I was used to just the one notch and drop it in, nope, that was a learning experience. Good luck and make sure that liner nut is snug

Like Jayson said. I thought that was a special upgrade that is not on all of them. Maybe someone upgraded it to the Ernest port.

Nope, came that way from Pyramyd. I was just concerned as my Crown is a Mk1 and didn’t know if there was something special there that made it incompatible. It looks plug and play at this point.

I read somewhere its a pilot hole encase you want to do your own custom port
