FX Crown 480 bottle

An adapter like this:

https://www.huma-air.com/Quickfill-adaptor-for-FX-pressure-bottle

But Beware: There have been some issues with these adapters where they have opened the FX valve 'too far' and have resulted in non-functional valves (can be user repaired, but still a PITA). I can't imagine that it affects all users? Huma has a better reputation than that.

Word has it that BestFittings UK is working on a fix for the Huma product, or an adapter of their own?

I think they changed the longer degas screw to a short allen screw, maybe people where screwing in the long screw too far when taking air out or who knows people may have had this screw in when trying to fill up?

I have one of the Huma fillers that is a great addition, allowing me to fill a couple of spare bottles. However, it did cause my older FX bottle to leak completely when I initially filled it with my Hill compressor. The adapter uses air pressure to force the valve open, this dislodged the valve seat. I disassembled the valve and put the valve seat back with a new tighter oring and all good. No problems with the newer FX bottles, so maybe they have an integrated valve seat. Note that this set screw is only used to empty a bottle.
