FX Crown .25 owner thouhts.

After owning my FX Crown .25 in black pepper for over two full months now I can happily report no issues so far, I have put over 3000 rounds through the Crown and besides cleaning barrel and doing regulator mod
I have no regrets so far with this purchase. I have been switching back and forth between 25.4 and 34 grain MK2 JSB’s. Like I said before I did tune gun to my liking, shoot on power setting #4 when using 25.4’s @880 FPS and 34 gr on max @ 840 FPS. Shot count has been great, accuracy is amazing, have made some crazy long distance shots with the Crown. With FX opening operations in the US this will only increase the demand for FX’s products. It’s reassuring to deal directly with FX in the US if you ever need parts or service.

I clean barrel every 500 rounds, barrel does get pretty dirty but accuracy is still pretty good, I always got a small amount of regulator creep from new, nothing major like some.
I just dry fired gun once before shooting to bring regulator back to correct pressure. I have since re stacked the belville washers and this has totally eliminated any regulatoe creep regardless of how long gun sits. Right now I am using a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16X40 scope with Burris Signature Zee 11mm high mounts with posalign inserts.

Those are almost the exact same numbers I have as well. I like the fact that my Crown shoot like a lazer on power setting 4 with the 25's. Saves on air, quieter and still accurate all at the same time. My Crown is a pleasure to shoot. Sure wish I had 100 yards close by to go shoot. I have to go to the local gun range to get that. then I don't get to shoot much because everyone and his dog want to see the gun and ask a lot of questions. :) All in the fun of it though.
I have to say that I also really enjoy my 2 Wildcats. After shooting either the 25 or the 177 WC, the Crown seems like a battle ship at first. FX is making some really nice guns right now.
