FX Crown .22 MK2 + JSB Knockout 25.39 (.217) = Happy!!

Hi Guys and Gals,

Got a brief break in weather and work today so took the MK2 Crown .22 out for a whirl...

I am not a big slug guy as pellets have always done what I needed but decided to see how the MK2 Crown did with the JSB Knockouts as I had a few tins to burn.

I have been talking with a gentlemen who has had VERY good results with them and he gave me a brief outline of speeds they like etc.

I dialed up the MK2 Crown to sling them at 980 when set between Max and A and here are the results...

30 yards 7 shots with one of the Knockouts for perspective in the bottom pic.

Pretty damn pleased!!

Specs:

Mk2 Crown .22

600mm Superior liner

Reg set at 145 bar

Power Level= High

Hammer Wheel= Between Max and A

980 FPS

not jump your topic but doc try some 20.2 gr out of your 22 uragan mines really liking them the 18 at 950 fps is crazy 12 shots

Looks excellent so long as you were shooting three separate groups. I dialed my Impact back to 960 with the NSA 36.2 slugs and accuracy improved a bit.

I absolutely will douger! Looks like those shoot damn good! I have heard there are some NSA .30 that do very well out of the .30 Uragan so going to check more into that also.

Yes biohazardman those are three groups each of 7 shots.....

Like I said I am not a slug guy by any means but hard to ignore that accuracy at those speeds...

Hoping to stretch it out a bit this weekend and see how it goes...

Man, that’s impressive. I have a Crown Continuum mk2 and have only used the 380mm barrel so far. Do you think I’d be able to get that velocity with the 380mm barrel? The other option is a 700mm barrel.

I’m currently shooting the 18.13 JSBs at 878fps with my reg at 145, Power Level 5 and medium transfer port.

I’m new to all this and am finally getting it tuned in with the pellets. I would hate to change up too much out of fear that I won’t be able to get it back in tune.

Jason, you can’t get that with the 380 barrel, but with your same settings you have now and the 700 barrel, you should probably be just fine. Your current settings sounds similar to an optimal tune for using both the 380 and 700 barrels. The longer barrel gains you much more speed.
