HAHA, I think the barrel would be up inside the receiver. Don't the compacts come with a 500mm? and the barrel is crazy short on them.

Ah, the perfect length barrel. Throw on a Tatsu and the muzzle should be even with the end of the bottle!

I would like to have the 380mm on the crown, not the impact! LOL
Utah airgun already has one I just cannot justify the 2k for it especially when it’s not a MK2.

Hmmm, yeah, I don't think I like the look of that Crown. Maybe just the scope looks too big
Cool they've got one, though. I bet it's silly light. I think mine with synthetic stock, and no scope (380mm barrel) was 6.5lbs on the nose

Yes, that's the 177 barrel which is 320mm. You know what I really want after looking at all the compacts? FX put the wildcat action in a rifle chassis so it's a semi bullpup with foldable rear stock.......that would be crazy sick and short(ok, couple of inches)!!!! @FXAirguns! Did you hear that? Do I get a free one for coming up with this idea? LOL

I tried shooting the 500mm with the DonnyFL Tanto and no shroud. It was LOUD, probably going to be even louder with the 380mm and a small suppressor.

You'd be surprised. I use a tiny huma mod on mine, and it is near silent on low power. I also installed a baffle inside my shroud to reduce the exit from 9.5mm down to 6.2mm
On high power, it isnt horribly quiet, but still very considering how loud it would be otherwise.
Also, tune has a lot to do with loudness

Anybody put a FX Impact MKII Plenum Cover on there gun? If so how quick was the job? Also what hand grips do you folks suggest for gun.. I didn't like the feel of my last impact hand grip!

If you want to keep the bag rider you have to use the angel grips, personally I like the feel if the vertical/pistol grip.

I agree, with a decent length shroud the noise is minimum. There won’t be much of a shroud if you install a 380mm barrel on the impact. The barrel only extend a few inches pass the barrel support block.

Well, the superlight barrels have no air strippers like older crown and impact barrels. With the 9.5mm exit hole, they can still be quite loud. Thats why I reduced the exit

What's the best compact scope you guys have found? I want really clear glass!! 1x6 or 3x12! Been thinking of element or hawk compact

I’m currently using a Leupold 1.25-4x24 with fire dot. It’s super clean but switching to a Leupold 3-9x33 efr for more magnification pass 40yards.

No stratos it doesn’t. There is a hair line gap . This thing shoots amazing. Now with almost double the shot count
