Yep … my readings were all over the place using a tripod. Using your method the strings really tightened up. Just shot this string from my Cricket using the 34 grain MK2: 912, 914,912,919,921,912,919,916,916,919,921,916 for average of 916.4 and ES of 9 and went into a half inch at 65 yards. I had been getting spreads of 80 to 90 FPS on this gun before but the accuracy was very good so I knew that the chronograph wasn't doing something right.
