Don't know much about electricity for whether it would work but 3 AAA Batteries is 4.5volts. and this solar panel produces 4.5 volts. I sure one fine folks are knowledgeable enough to make this idea work.
If you do please let the rest of us know how to do it too. Thanks

I modded mine a while back with a li-ion battery pack and a charge port. It can also be plugged in to 120v ac while in use.
