Fx carbon sleeve ‘gap’

When fitting a fx carbon sleeve on my wc mk3 sniper, there’s a slight gap

ive used 2 of the o rings to fill this gap, but accuracy isn’t quite as good as without the carbon sleeve 

is there any other way around this ‘gap’?

I wrap the liner in electric tape on 5 spots spaced down the liner until it's a tight fit putting the CF on.

I've also read people using Teflon tape to do that

Carbon sleeve was supposed to eliminate any need of orings and tapes.

Ok so I can happily use tape to get a very snug fit … but this still isn’t going to cure the problem of still having a small gap … ie the carbon sleeve doesn’t quite cover the whole barrel/liner

Its going to be shorter than the actual liner. Has to have room to fit the liner through the barrel connector and also have room for the liner lock nut.

You have the wrong liner. Get the correct liner for your barrel OD and you'll be set. There is no advantage when you use the wrong size liner.

I can't imagine a small gap in the length would be an issue, unless there was some kind of tensioning going on...diameter would be something else again.

So this is the gap. I’ve ended up using 1 o ring on each end and it seems to have sorted the slight accuracy issue … back to 1 hole
