FX bottle valve question

Yes, you will need this tool but its still NOT easy to remove this kind of valve because you have to find a way to hold the bottle in place. 

a big vice with soft jaws (usually not available and small ones at home dont work or you will make a dent in it)

you can tie it down with straps between two 2x4 with a layer of sandpaper between. that causes MUCH friction!
 
If the new valve is not cheap, here what I did to get those AirArms S200 cylinders apart. Anyone who has tried knows how tight they are. Get a Pipe repair clamp that will fit around your bottle. These have a rubber liner used to temporarily seal a hole in a pipe. Here is one that should be close to your bottle

You clamp this on the bottle without marring and then clamp this into your vice.



Then get a split tubing hanger that will fit the valve. My AA had 2 holes so I drilled and tapped a 2nd hole across from the one already there.

I then had to use a 24" pipe wrench to turn the valve (18" wrench not enough torque)
