FX bobcat regulator power setting

The Bobcat/Royale/ Boss platform comes from the factory set for peak performance with JSB pellets, in fact, from my understanding, they were DESIGNED around them & I've always gotten optimal performance when shooting them with original factory settings. I don't like screwing with perfection.

@Maarodigro Changing the air cylinder is as simple as it get’s. The regulator is not externally adjustable. Adjusting the reg is a relatively simple process. Huma Air stocks regs for the Bobcat. They can removed to be adjusted so you can see the numbers on the reg IIRC. Dunno about the stock reg. Remove the reservoir (back out one large set screw in the fore stock and unscrew the air tube), then remove the stock (one Allen head screw behind the grip. Use the shorter end of an “L” shaped Allen key), next there is a “nut” attached to a part of the valve that can be removed. This is the piece goes into the air tube and allows air to travel to the regulator. The regulator is behind this piece with the nut on it. Sorry I don’t have the parts diagram in front of me. The reg can be adjusted with a small flathead screwdriver. There should be a red dot on it that you along with the reg setting numbers on the adjustable reg screw.

Here’s a video. I searched YouTube using “FX Bobcat MKII regulator” as keywords.

The one I worked on didn’t have a power wheel and looked slightly different.

Here’s a link to the Huma Air regulator for the Bobcat MKII
