FX Bobcat MkII .30

I bought this FX Bobcat last month from Beefbonks (Awesome seller!) Shot it, and it was very accrate, but I wanted a bit more at 100yrds. Not a fan of how the action seats on the stock allowing a lot of barrel and action movement, so I glass bedded the action and receiver up to the barrel shroud and kept the entire barrel/shroud free floating. Modified a DonnyFL Koi for 30 cal and its about done. I may play around with some differnt speeds, but at least I'm very happy with the starting point Ill be tweaking the speed from.

Gotchya, refinery by ya. Don’t get that far south when we go to the cities about as close as we get is South St Paul, lived in Rochester back in early eighties but bypassed Rosemount when I went home, they were redoing 52 back then or something like that it’s been awhile.

keep us posted on anything you do to increase the accuracy of the Bobcat, I’m looking at a Impact x .30 cal with the 700mm barrel.

Nice looking setup you have there, I recently purchased the exact rifle in exact caliber about a month ago from AOA. I’ve tested and tuned the gun since ive had it and came up with some great results. I did notice some fluctuations on my regulator though...That being said, I purchased a Huma regulator and received it Friday evening and installed it not long after. I started the regulator at 170 bar and shot over the chronograph several strings, the results were phenomenal around 920fps. For some reason, when I refilled the cylinder to max pressure I noticed the regulator gauge was reading 180bar. I was thinking that the gauge was malfunctioning so I shot another string, man was I wrong. The gun was putting out 950fps roughly 90fpe, I thought to myself no way could it be accurate at that speed. I was once again proved wrong, at 75yds a 9 shot group ctc was .627in. It’s going to take a lot for someone to persuade me that there’s another rifle at there that can do what this thing is doing. By the way the shots were made off of a bipod and sandbag in the rear.
