Anybody shooting the bobcat mk2 30 cal. I'm looking to buy one and just wondering about accuracy, noise level, and shot count.

I have a Fx bobcat mk2 .25 but my friend that goes to the range with me have the .30 cal version. Accuracy is the same. Noise level is a tad bit louder that my .25 cal. He gets about 30 to 35 shots compared to my 75 to 80 shots. He uses 44 gr. And I use 33 gr8.

Thanks for the info. I read that you could get about 40 full power shots. Do y'all think that is possible or realistically 30 to 35

Filling to to over max fill a little could get you there with my friend gun. All guns are unique. Your gun could give you 40 full power shots. He got about 36 shots before it looked like it was about to go off the regulator

Gotcha that sounds good. Yeah I know all guns are different. I get 48 good shots with my Wildcat in 25 cal. Just trying to get as much information as I can before I buy. I just put a moderator on from Donny FL. I put the Ronin on my gun. I noticed that the is more accurate and noticeably quieter.

I have the .30 FX Bobcat MK2, and its a great gun. I fill to approx. 250 bar, shoot down to 160 bar (where my regulator is set), and get 4 magazines (36 shots) before it goes off reg. I'm getting about 78 fpe, and 885 fps with the JSB 44.75 gr. Exacts. I have the Ronin on my Bobcat, it makes it very quiet, and also reduces the small amount of muzzle flip. I did end up going with a HUMA regulator (VERY easy to install), since I bought my Bobcat used and the FX regulator was set around 145 bar, and it "wandered" from 140 to 155 bar from time to time. Plus, I was only getting about 850 fps. As is, its a tack driver out to over 100 yards, haven't shot longer than that at the range but have taken ground squirrels at longer than 100 yards.
Thanks for the info centercut. I'm patiently waiting till I get one. I would mind finding one slightly used too. I'm going to see what the factory regulator is set at before I change mine. But good to know. Thanks

What you mean old technology? Isn't the MK2 the new design or updated model. That's what I'm looking for. I was looking at the impact but I read to many bad reviews on the issues they having. And the boss is to long. So I'm going the bobcat mk2

I hade a bob cat mk2 22 cal it was factory reged thought the mk2 was reged from factory verses the mk 1 wasn't reged

For Info. The Bobcat works with the new FX Whisper magazines which are quite a bit smaller in diameter and hold 1 round less. I have a 10x round .25 version (as a field backup magazine) and it works really well, although it is obviously too small to be stored in the stock.
