looking for some advice please! bought a bobcat mkII .25 and filled it with air and took about 4 shots and I could hear air leaking down by the breach. When I cock the gun and the breach is open you can really hear the air exscaping and it drains the gut bottle in about 4/5 minutes. any advice would be appreciated!!

Yes, when I bought the gun the guy put up front on his ad that it was new. But I have since found out he got it from someone else. And I have a problem with the gun as stated above

There are lots of guys on this forum that have experience with the FX guns so hopefully the will chime in. Hopefully it might just be an easy o-ring issue, that you can fix with their guidance? Hoping for you!. I would personally contact Airguns of Arizona and visit with them. I'm sure they can get you on the right path. Best of luck.

"When I cock the gun and the breach is open you can really hear the air exscaping" , as in the loading/pellet probe is held back/open right? Otherwise the noise would be loudest coming out the barrel? If shrouded may want to remove that and listen or place balloon ( if draining a tank in minutes a balloon will fill ).
IF leaking down the barrel it is the firing valve itself. I do not know the bobcat but did replace a valve stem in a different pcp last night in about a half hour and $15.00 including all seals/O-rings, might as well replace everything you touch.
